True Beauty By Yaongyi
True beauty, although such things may help your appearance, does not come from the outside. But rather the outward shine that comes from a heart that is right and which provides a solid means for better peace and confidence. Jugyeong earns what seems like a thousand LIKES or more after each of her social-media posts. Her popularity has increased and she has friends now. However, unlike some who become known on the phenomena of the information highway of the internet century and become a whole different personality, deep down inside she remains as her sincere, true and real self. After just one summer her life became suddenly transformed to that of a middle school teenager. She used that summer as a way to spend her time adjusting to the daily challenges of being alone.
Her hobbies of course which she pursues during her free time are something that you must read the graphic novel style of comic-book here on your own in order to find out how those adventures play out. Her reading is a serious thing to her though and she won't compromise beauty for that ever. She learns how to stand up for herself when it comes to another student, a new boy, who attempts to high-jack her personal and favorite reading material from the book shop. But the smear campaign of emotional blackmail which he launches through a seeming secret and cool demeanor does not surprise her either. That is where she finds out that she does know how to be assertive and state the facts on behalf of herself.
Changing schools from one old year to the new year though, has provided Jugyeong a new lease on life. She is both smart and attractive now. Other students look up to her as a role model. And until she studies Japanese with a new boy in town, each day of her life at school is the perfect day. But entering the world of friendship has lessons about self-esteem and self-worth for her. Her relationships face a daily ebb and flow of emotionally-based communications that coming from her friends and others are more than slow, wise and easily manageable. And just when she thinks she may have found the authentic kind and caring love of her life, we are a suspense-based fan and we won't really know until we read Volume II.
